About HNUC
Hunan University of Commerce (HNUC) is a full-time provincial university with diverse disciplines covering economics, management, law, liberal arts, natural science, engineering, and arts, among which economics and management are its two pillar disciplines. It was awarded as an excellent university in the National Undergraduate Education Appraisal in 2006.
Located in the historically and culturally renowned city of Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, the university enjoys convenient communications and beautiful environments with picturesque Yuelu Mountain to the south and rippling Xiang River to the east. Established in 1949, the university occupies a total area of 893,740 square meters(or 1340.61 Chinese mu) with a floor space of over 470,000 square meters, equipped with 100 million RMB worth of teaching facilities and over 2 million volumes of library stack. The University encompasses 17 colleges and departments, 42 scientific research institutions. College of Beijin, one of the earliest independent colleges approved by National Ministry of Education, is attached to HNUC. Currently, over 20,000 students are enrolled on campus.
